Te Akau Matamata Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the eight race programme on Wednesday 6 July at Matamata.

As on Monday 4 July the conditions were: fine and Heavy10, rail out 8 metres. No rain forecast.

12.45 p.m. R2 2 Bobtail (2 f Alamosa - Cavendish Belle) - Cameron Lammas; circled up for third when resuming in the Maiden 2YO 1200 metres on Heavy10 at Te Teko, and contests the corresponding event. She has pleased in her work but requires luck from a wide draw.

1.55 p.m. R4 3 Niamh Elizabeth (3 f Per Incanto - Trove) - Matt Cameron; produced a much improved performance for second in the Maiden 1200 metres at Te Teko and looks in good order for the corresponding race. With a home track advantage and she appears ideally placed to threaten this field.
