Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the eight race programme on Wednesday 20 July at Matamata.
As on Tuesday 19 July the conditions were: cloudy and Heavy10, rail out 11.5 metres. 10mls rain forecast overnight.
1.55 p.m. R4 5 Niamh Elizabeth (3 f Per Incanto - Trove) - Cameron Lammas; rises in grade for the Rating 65 1200 metres following a dominant course/distance maiden win on Heavy10 at the last meeting here, and has trained on pleasingly. Second placed Miss Rio (Captain Rio) produced a notable effort for fourth over 1400 metres last Friday at Avondale. One of eight course winners in the field, she strikes conditions to suit and has what it takes to measure up.
