Te Akau Matamata Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the seven-race programme on Monday June 30 at Matamata.

As on Saturday June 28 the conditions were: cloudy and Heavy11, rail out 6.5 metres.

4:08pm R7 2 Sneaky Feelings (4 m High Chaparral - Landara) - Matt Cameron; closed late when finishing only a neck from the winner in fourth here on June 4 in the Benchmark 65 High-weight 1600 metres, with Daniel Miller aboard. Second up at her previous start, she fought solidly for fourth in the Benchmark 65 1600 metres on Slow9 footing at Te Aroha. A winner over a mile on Heavy10 footing at the corresponding meet last year, she gives the impression in her racing style that stepping to 2000 metres is suitable and drawing wide in the last race of the day should prove advantageous in search of better going.
