Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the eight-race programme on Friday July 18 at Matamata.

As on Thursday July 17 the conditions were: cloudy and Heavy10, rail out 10 metres.

3:50pm R8 7 Sneaky Feelings (4 m High Chaparral - Landara) - Anna Jones (a3); worked home for sixth here on June 30 in the Benchmark 65 2000 metres, under 59kgs on Heavy11 footing. In the corresponding event, she will carry 54kgs with a weight claim in effect and likely to strike slightly better going than last time should prove an assist. She meets a similar field in strength to her previous outing and the ground holding up on the inside would aid her prospects from barrier two.
