Star of Greenbeel (Miller) galloped 800m on a good plough in 55.5 and 40.8 the final 600m. La Adelita (Gomes) covered the same distance in 53.7 and 38.2.

Arpeggio (Miller) went 1000m at three-quarter pace.

800m three-quarter pace: Flaming (Hercock), Osmunda (Roff), Is This Love (Samuelsson) and Astrid (Roff).

1400m three-quarter pace: Frock (Hercock) and Seline (Zainal).

Spitfire Lady had her final preparation for the Group 1 Telegraph with a handy gallop this morning. Co-trainer Chad Ormsby was in the saddle as she did striding work over 1000m on the plough in 1:10 and came home the final 600m in 38.6.

Stable mate Stella's Honour (Ormsby) worked the distance in a time of 1:07 and 39.3. She also runs on Saturday at Te Rapa in the rating 75 1600m event.

On a good course proper Orange Peel (Grylls) galloped 800m with Delta de Lago (Coleman) in 51.7 and 36.7 the final 600m.

Back on the plough, Parisian Jewel (Price) was strong over 1000m in 1:05.8 and 37 while Crystalite (Sapsworth) covered the distance in 1:09.8 and 40.5. Ratmansky (Sapsworth) and Sacred Trust (Grylls) galloped together over 1200m in 1:19 and ran home the final 600m in 36.4. Silk Chardonnay (A Jones) worked 1200m in 1:16.2 and 36.4 while stable mate I'll'ava'alf (A Jones) worked over the distance in a steady 1:26.1 and 41.2.

Letmego (Hillis) looks to be thriving as she galloped 1000m in 1:05 and 36.5. Star of Greenbeel (Miller) covered 800m in 55.5 and 40.8 while stable mate La Adelita (Gomez) did similar work in 53.7 and 38.2.

On the all-weather Perfect Fit (K Jones) and Aura D'oro galloped 1000m in 1:10.5 and 40.7.
