Te Akau track work highlights - Wednesday July 23 -

Course proper, right-handed (Slow)

Rapid Gain (Miller) and Show No Emotion (Hercock) went from the 1000 metres at three-quarter pace before quickening to cover the 800m in 57.2, last 600m in 39.3.

Sand track, three-quarter pace 800 metres:

Highly Likely (Richards), Urban Angel (Hercock), Spellbinder (Miller), Alchemy's Flight (Allen), Longbeach (Allen) all worked solo.

Two-year-old Grass Track, three-quarter pace 800 metres:

Rockfast (Miller) worked solo, as did Atua (Hercock) and Bettorock (Miller). Bordeaux (Richards) was partnered by Zarules (Allen), and Darci's Dream (Hercock) went with Smashing (Miller). Duran (Hercock) and Rock ‘N' Sox (Richards), and Bon Marche (Miller) worked with Prince Henry (Allen).

All-weather track:

1 c Fastnet Rock - Morgalicious (Ellis) and 1 c Pins - Laurinel Princess (Richards) cantering around against the rail on the all-weather track, as did Windborne (1 f Darci Brahma - Sweet Dreams Baby) (Samuelsson) and 1 f Encosta De Lago - Love Diamonds (Allen).
