Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the nine race programme on Wednesday 26 August at Matamata.
As on Monday 24 August the conditions were: cloudy and Heavy10, rail out 8.5 metres.
2.17 p.m. R5 10 Stella Di Paco (3f Paco Boy - Savabeel Star) - Cameron Lammas; has been given 32 days since finding the heavy conditions too testing in the $50,000 Ryder Stakes (Listed, 1200m) on July 25 at Otaki. On Slow7 footing in May, she had won the Castletown Stakes (Listed, 1200m) at Wanganui. She appears quite nicely weighted (54.5kgs) for a stakes' winner in the Rating 65 1200 metres and the prospect of loose going, and home track advantage, should see her prove competitive.
