Course proper, right-handed (Slow):

Ahead of the meeting next Monday, July 22, at Avondale, Polarity (Stack) prepared for the Benchmark 65 2200 metres when working solo over 1600 metres at three-quarter pace, covering the 1200m in 1:23.9, last 600m in 39.7. Contesting the Maiden 1400 metres for fillies and mares Pride and Passion (Richards) was partnered by My Fiancée (Stack), in the Maiden 3YO 1400 metres, over 1200 metres in 1:26.4, last 600m 38.9.

In easy work leading into the Benchmark 75 1600 metres on Saturday, July 20, at Ruakaka, Goyescas (Richards) covered 1200 metres in 1:25.9, last 600m in 41. 

Three-quarter pace on the sand track:

Alchemy's Flight (2 f Darci Brahma - Eloa) (Stack) and Spellbinder (2 f O'Reilly - Scenic Sprint) (Richards) went 600 metres at three-quarter pace, 2 f Darci Brahma - Pteridophyte (Rismaan) went 600m solo, Flying Solo (2 g Flying Spur - Daly Charm) (Stack) and 2 g Saperavi - Sweet Dreams Baby (Rismaan) went 600m, Secret Whisper (Hazlett) went 800m.

Three-quarter pace on the Two-Year-Old grass track (Slow):

In good fettle to resume in the 2YO 1000 metres Saturday at Ruakaka, Dreamer (2 f More than Ready - Make Me Strong) (Richards) went 600 metres, over 800 metres: King's Rock (2 c Fastnet Rock - Nureyev's Girl) (Stack) worked with Rise ‘n' Shine (2 g Zabeel - Kay's Awake), Aspen (2 c Alamosa - Kirin Belle) (Demir) and Hardcore Rock (2 c Fastnet Rock - River Dreaming) (Ellis), Flirty Gertey (2 f Thorn Park - Granma Gertey) (Rismaan) and 2 f More than Ready - Insouciant (Hazlett), Costa Viva (2 f Encosta De Lago - Vivacious Spirit) (Demir) and Ruthless Lady (2 f Keeper - Lady Dehere) (Stack).
