Te Akau track work highlights - Wednesday September 24 -

Course proper, right-handed (Heavy)

Rapid Gain (Hercock) and Smashing (Lammas) galloped over 1000 metres in 1:10.9, last 600m in 40.8. An impressive debut winner on the course, Smashing (Pins) has been nominated to resume on Saturday in either the Rating 65 1200 metres, or 3 & 4YOS 1200m, at New Plymouth.

Sand track, three-quarter pace:

Shillelagh (Lammas) and 3 f Encosta De Lago - Grand Echezeaux (Hercock) were paired over 800 metres. Equanimity (Miller) worked solo over 800m.
