Course proper right-handed (slow):


All Decked Out (Miller) worked over 1000 metres, last 600m in 38.5, giving indication of his readiness for the Hawkes Bay Guineas (Gr. 2, 1400m) on Saturday at Hastings.


Thrive (Myers), a late nomination for the weight-for-age Spring Classic (Gr. 1, 2040m) at Hastings, came from the 1200 metres and galloped out nicely in 37.8 for the final 600m.


In action next week, Abidewithme (Myers), trialling on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Cambridge, and Bronte Lass (Miller) resuming in the Benchmark 75 1400 metres on Wednesday at Taupo, worked over 1000 metres in 1:05, last 600m in 38.5. Making his debut over 1400 metres at the same meeting, Longbeach (Miller) worked at three-quarter pace over 1000 metres on the sand.


Off a freshen-up, Prospero (Miller) clicked into his work over the last 600 metres in 38.9. He is scheduled for the Benchmark 75 1600 metres on Saturday Oct. 12 at Matamata.

Enhance (Miller) worked solo, as did Costa Viva (Dee), Chambord (Myers), Precious Time (Myers), Cold Snap (Gomas), and King Savinsky (Miller). In pairs: 3 f Guillotine - Greta Hall (Miller) and 3 f Volksraad - Rapida (Dee), 3 f High Chaparral - Romantic Liaisons (Miller) and 3 g King's Chapel - Effortlessly (Hazlett), Flying Therese (Ellis) and 3 f Zabeel - Thistle Cove (Miller), 3 f Minstrel Court - Nat the Brat (Dee) and 3 g Duke of Marmalade - Frescante (Myers), Riverenza (Ellis) and Stylee (Miller).
