Te Akau New Zealand trackwork highlights - Wednesday 29 July -

On the course proper (heavy):

Vive La Difference (Lammas - main picture) went solo over 800 metres in 56.6, and her last 600 in 42.5. She looks in good condition heading towards a spring campaign.

Our Abbadean (Miller - below right) and Ebony Star (Hercock - below left) - pictured below - went 800 in 1.02 and running their last 600 in in 42.7.

Flaming (Hercock) strode out very nicely this morning in the company of Zambezi Warrior (Miller) over 800m. The pair ran 800 in 58.3, last 600 in 42.7.

Two year old fillies Love Triangle (Miller) and Special Memories (Hercock) worked to the line together over 800 metres in 58.6, their last 600 in 42.8 - while Xtravagant (Lammas) and Splurge (McNab) ran the 800 in 57.4, last 600 in 42.9. The pair are looking in great order, ahead of the new season.

Scrutinize (Lammas - partly obscured below right) and Rocksun (Matthewson - left) - pictured below -ran 800 in 56.2, last 600 in 42.1.

On the sand:

Amperage (Richards) and Beacon of Hope (McNab) were untimed but ran an easy 800. They both looked really strong in their gallop, and both riders happy with their mounts.  Two year olds Castledale - Elianto (McNab) with Court Case (Richards) went an easy 800, in satisfying fashion. Vintage Verdot (McNab) and Esprit De Corps (Grylls) worked over 800, co-trainer Stephen Autridge pleased with the pair's work.

Two year olds Postponed - Promissory (McNab) and More Than Fast (Grylls) worked nicely over 800 metres together while 2g Sahkee's Secret - Spin ‘N' Grin (Lammas) and 2g Paco Boy - L'Accord (Richards), both making good progress in their work this preparation, worked over 800 metres kindly.

On the all weather:

Imperium (Price) in the company of Hushed (Hercock), galloped an easy 800 metres.
