Te Akau track work highlights - Wednesday July 2

Course proper, right-handed (Heavy):

All Decked Out (Miller) and Prospero (Hercock) worked together over 1200 metres at three-quarter pace. Racing on Saturday at Te Rapa, Prospero (High Chaparral) has drawn barrier one in Benchmark 75 2100 metres, where Mick Dee is engaged to take a kilo off his carded weight, and he remains third on the ballot for the Taumarunui Cup (Listed, 2100m).

Redoute's Chance (Miller) worked over a mile in preparation for the Maiden High-weight 2200 metres next Wednesday, July 9, at Te Aroha, where his rider Daniel Miller will take the mount.

Three-quarter pace 600 metres on the sand track:

Rock ‘N' Sox (Kilinc) and Virtuous (Hercock) worked together. Our Drahma Queen (Hercock) went with Vive La Difference (Richards). Rockfast (Miller) worked solo over 600m, as did Imperium (Misbah), Madame Jamai (Misbah), Bon Marche (Richards), and Prince Henry (Misbah).
