Weather: showery, track: Slow9, rail: out 4 metres. No rain forecast.

12.22 p.m. R1 1 Rakuten (4 g Savabeel - Millililli) - Diego Montes de Oca
(a1); remained on the bridle when winning stylishly at the trials on 15
September at Te Rapa, with de Oca aboard, and resumes in the $10,000 Maiden
1200 metres. Continuing to improve and never further back than fourth in five
starts, he has a wide draw (12) to overcome but rates a top three chance.

2.07 p.m. R4 7 Duby (4 m Ocean Park - Lost in Dubai) -
Danielle Johnson; chased valiantly for second to impressive winning stable-mate
Cornflower Blue (Savabeel) in the Maiden 1200 metres on 9 September at
Matamata, and contests the $10,000 Maiden 1300 metres. Although drawn wide
(14), she has an improving form line to rate an each way chance.

4.27 p.m. R8 5 Zouluminous (4 m Zoustar - Luminous
Harmony) - Joe Kamaruddin (a4); won her Maiden by four lengths in January at
Wanganui, kept up a strong gallop to dead-heat for second when trialling on 15

improved with racing, stronger this time in, and aided by weight relief to

Danielle Johnson; beat subsequent impressive dual winning stable-mate Vamos
Bebe (I Am Invincible) on the debut in the Maiden 1100 metres on 12 August at
Taupo, before battling a touch second-up in slow ground on 9 September at
Matamata. Although drawn wide (14) in the $10,000 Rating 65 1300 metres, she
displayed good attributes when winning and warrants respect.
