Course proper (slow)

All Decked Out (Miller) and King Savinsky (Dee) covered 1200 metres in 1:21.7, last 600m in 38.2. Having already secured a debut victory on the course at Ruakaka, All Decked Out (pictured above at the recent trials with Pam Gerard our Assistant Trainer) returns to the same venue for his second start in Northern Breeders' Stakes (Listed, 1200m) next Saturday on Sept. 14. King Savinsky is being readied for the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres on Wednesday Sept. 19 at Poverty Bay.

Aspen (Dee) and Thrive (Miller) also worked over 1200 metres in 1:22.5, coming home in 37.9 for the final 600m. Aspen makes his debut in the Maiden 1400 metres at Ruakaka and is pictured below, and Thrive heads south to the Merial Metric Mile (Gr. 3, 1600m) next Saturday at Awapuni.
