Te Akau track work highlights - Monday October 20 -

Course proper (Dead):

King' Rock (Miller) worked solo over a mile. He covered the 1200 metres in 1:22.8 and last 600m in 38.3. Finding the line in all three starts this time in, King's Rock (Fastnet Rock) is scheduled for the Rating 65 2400 metres on Saturday at Ellerslie.

Rockfast (Lammas) worked over 1400 metres, covering the 1200m in 1:24.8 and final 600m in 41.8. Rockfast (Fastnet Rock) has a number of options open to him in the three days at Labour Weekend (Oct. 25 - 27) and trainer Jason Bridgman will be selecting the most suitable, dependent of track conditions and draws etc.

Wolfwhistle (Hercock) came from the 1400m to clock 1:20.7 for the 1200m and last 600m in 36.9. Rated 74 following his last start win over 2000m at Hastings, it is hoped he may gain a start in the Spring Classic (Listed, 2000m) on Saturday at Riccarton.
