Te Akau Monday Update

New Zealand Bloodstock and the Auckland Racing Club staged one of the great days of racing last night at Ellerslie.  It was a fantastic atmosphere with a great crowd and lots of young people!

James McDonald had two rides for Te Akau for a win and a second - Arpeggio (main picture) as you will have read winning for her breeder Sir Peter Vela, what a thrill for him and trainer Jason Bridgman on the eve of the Premier Sale.

Rockfast who was runner up in the Listed $100,000 Karaka 3YO Mile went the run of a colt on track for the Group 1 NZ Derby and we are very much looking forward to that date in about a month's time.

Then our attention turned to Singapore and Mark Walker was on fire winning three of the first eight races on the Kranji programme.

Now our attention is firmly focused on the Karaka Sale today - we are going to buy some really exciting young horses so join the team and come and be with us at Karaka - we will make you very welcome!
