Te Akau Racing has two horses entered on Wednesday 17 December at Mornington (Victoria).

Weather: fine, track: Good4, rail: out 4 metres. No Rain forecast. 

6:50 p.m. (NZ) - 4:50 p.m. (Vic) R2 5 Jealous (5 m Nicconi – Jujube) – Beau Mertens; she was caught three-wide near the pace and did very well when fighting hard for third in the Benchmark 78 2500 metres last Saturday at Pakenham. Contesting the A$40,000 Benchmark 70 3040 metres, she has been racing solidly, and appears nicely placed to rate a top three chance if she handles the four-day backup between races. 8:00 p.m. (NZ) - 6:00 p.m. (Vic) R4 3 Koko (3 f Written Tycoon – Tawteen) – Jamie Mott; she finished well for second after trailing in the Maiden Fillies & Mares 1200 metres here on 27 November, and contests the A$42,500 Maiden 3YO Fillies 1200 metres. She closed strongly for fourth when debuting, prior, in the Maiden 3YO 1203 metres on 5 November at Kyneton, and shapes to race well with any luck from her wide draw (11).
