5:00 p.m. (NZ) - 3:00 p.m. (Vic) R4 8 Koko (3 f Written Tycoon – Tawteen) – Daniel Stackhouse; she raced three-wide with cover from the outside gate (9), was pocketed turning for home, and closed strongly for fourth when debuting in the Maiden 3YO 1203 metres on 5 November at Kyneton. Contesting the A$42,500 Maiden Fillies & Mares 1200 metres, she is ideally drawn (2) to perform well second up. NZ TAB fixed odds: $4.20 & $1.65.

7:00 p.m. (NZ) - 5:00 p.m. (Vic) R8 12 Seven Oceans (3 f Flying Artie – With Purpose) – Craig Williams; she received a gorgeous trip when winning the Maiden 1000 metres on 31 October at Cranbourne, and was then jostled between runners and shuffled back in the Benchmark 64 3YO 1100 metres on 11 November at Caulfield. Contesting the A$35,000 Benchmark 62 1000 metres, she too has drawn handily (5) and appears capable of proving competitive. NZ TAB fixed odds: $13.00 & $3.10.
