Te Akau Motukarara Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the nine-race programme on Sunday November 2 at Motukarara.

As on Saturday November 1 the conditions were: fine and Dead6, rail true.

2.38 p.m. R4 6 Madame Jamai (3 f Minstrel Court - Palais Jamai) - Jillian Morris; has recorded two very good efforts this time in for second at Taupo: firstly, behind subsequent winner Bonniegirl (Darci Brahma) and more recently on Sept. 19 to Champagne Rein (Captain Rio). Drawn a wide barrier in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres, she has plenty of gate speed to take up a handy position and the right form on the board to prove tough. She is reported to look in excellent condition: both in the coat and physically, since arriving a couple of weeks ago into the Te Akau stables base at Riccarton.

Good to see her get a start after the abandoned Ashburton meeting!
