Te Akau Motukarara Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing on Sunday 5 November at Motukarara.

As on Saturday 4 November the conditions were: fine and Dead4, rail true. No rain forecast race day.

2.27 p.m. R5 9 Tiffany's Time (4 m Alamosa - Tinsel Time) - Matt Cameron; mounted a big finish win very well on 7 October in the Rating 65 1400 metres at Riccarton, having resumed with a solid third on the same course. Up in grade to contest the $11,000 Rating 75 1400 metres, they all have to beat hot favourite Sensei (Dream Ahead) but she has the ability to expose any chinks.

5.24 p.m. R10 2 King Kane (4 g Showcasing - Vannista Belle) - Matt Cameron; resumed with a notable performance for third to subsequent stakes placed Sensei (Dream Ahead) in the Rating 65 1200 metres on 13 October at Timaru. Having won his Maiden over a mile on dead ground last season at Hastings, he should appreciate increasing distance in the $10,000 Rating 65 1400 metres and possesses the attributes to test this field.
