Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the ten-race premier programme on Jan. 1 at Ellerslie.
As on Tuesday Dec. 31 the conditions were: fine and Dead5, rail out 4 metres.
4:20pm R6 11 Osmunda (3 f O'Reilly - Wyndam Special) - Matt Cameron; came off a 43-day break to finish seventh here on Dec. 15 in the Benchmark 65 1600 metres and steps up in distance at her fourth race day start to contest the Royal Stakes (Gr. 2, 2000m). Drawn barrier eleven she has opened at $18 in the fixed odds market.
