Te Akau track work highlights - Thursday 31 December -

Plough, three-quarter pace:

Stakes' placed and fourth last time out in the 1000 Guineas (Gr. 1, 1600m), Special Memories (Miller) was relaxed in her three-quarter pace work over 1000m in preparation to resume on 2 January in the Rating 75 1300 metres at Tauranga.

3 f Saperavi - Primo Quest (Zac-Syed) went 1000m in 1:14, last 600m in 43.5.

Cabaret (Lammas - below right) and Carmenize (Fawcett - below left) worked together over 1000m, last 600m in 42.

Corporate Missile (Lammas) looked very good in her work over 600m in 44.

Leonessa (Lammas - below) worked up from the 800, running the last 600m in 43 and appeared to enjoy it.

2 g Pins - Miss Katella (Richards) worked well over 600m in 43.4.

2 f Murtajill - Forbetterforworse (Hercock) and 2 f Savabeel - Catalina (Hanafi) both went well over 600m in 44.

Plough:

Sanhermano (Lammas) went an easy 1000m in 1:12. She is scheduled to debut on Jan. 8 in the Maiden 1200 metres at Rotorua.
