3:48 p.m. R8 6 Inca Belle (5 m Per Incanto – Belle Vie) – Hayley Hassman (a3); she ran on without threatening in the Rating 65 1300 metres on 31 May at Te Rapa, and contests the $17,000 Rating 65 1150 metres. She has recorded four wins to 1400 metres, has good record on heavy going, and has the advantage of weight relief to 54kg courtesy of the in-form stable apprentice. She is racing well and has first four claims. Fixed odds: $5.50 & $2.00.

Awapuni:

Weather: fine, track: poly-track, rail: true. Showers forecast. 

1:06 p.m. R2 2 Knowledge Is Power (3 g Written Tycoon – Hectopascal) – Jim Chung (a2); he yielded over the concluding stages after crossing to lead from his outside gate (10) in the Rating 75 1200 metres on 29 May at Riccarton (poly-track), and contests the $17,000 Rating 73 1000 metres. He was runner-up at his only previous course/distance attempt, has weight relief to 56.5kg, and rates a top three chance (main picture). Fixed odds: $8.50 & $2.10.
