Te Akau NZ Avondale Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered during the eleven-race programme on Monday Nov. 11 at Avondale.

As at 7:22am on Saturday Nov. 9 the conditions were: fine and Dead4, rail out 8 metres.

5:25pm R10 4 Cold Snap (5 m Pins - Forty Two Below) - Matt Cameron; picked a path from the rear with a strong finish for fourth on Oct. 9 in the Benchmark 75 1400 metres at Taupo. She finished 1.6 lengths from subsequent winner Sultry Assassin in a race where the performances of all fourteen runners had merit. Drawn wide, again, in the corresponding race, she finished second to Danza Lad here in May. On Sept. 22 she won the Poverty Bay Cup (Benchmark 75 1350m) on dead ground at Gisborne, from back in the field, and brings the right form to give this race a shake with luck in running.
