Te Akau NZ Avondale Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the seven-race programme on Monday Jan. 13 at Avondale.

As on Sunday Jan. 12 the conditions were: fine and Dead4, rail out 8 metres.

2:15pm R3 4 Longbeach (3 c Fastnet Rock - Betwixt) - Rory Hutchings; comes into this apprentice riders race over a mile having had 29-days since running through the line strongly for third on Dec. 15 in the Maiden 1600 metres at Ellerslie. At his previous start he finished second to The Fire Inside (Sir Percy) who has since gone on to win again. He brings the strongest form to the race, has the services of the leading apprentice rider and again stands a top chance of breaking through.
