Course proper, right-handed (Dead):


40mls of rain during the past three days made for excellent footing as the team preparing for assignments early next week worked through their paces.


Second on debut recently at Hastings, Peerage (Hercock) went at three-quarter pace from the 1200-metre mark in preparation for the Maiden 1600 metres on Monday, Dec. 2, at Te Aroha.


Also scheduled to race at Te Aroha, impressive debut winner Aspen (Lang) worked up nicely from the 1000 metres to finish off in 39 for the final 600 metres. He contests the Benchmark 65 1400 metres. As to does the resuming Stylee (Lang) who worked with Jewels Gift (Hercock), scheduled for the Maiden 1200 metres, over 1000 metres to clock 37.8 for the last 600m. Entered in the Maiden 1400 metres, Show No Emotion (Hercock) and Speeding (Lang), who debuts next Wednesday at Pukekohe, worked from the 1200 metres, last 600m in 37.8.


Close to racing trim, Pride and Passion (Hercock) worked at an easy tempo from the 1000 metres and covered the final 600m in 41.
