Te Akau NZ Hawera Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the nine-race programme on Thursday May 16 at Hawera.
As at 8:51am on Wednesday May 15 the conditions were: overcast and Dead5, rail True.
12:50pm R3 8 My Fiancée (3 f Snitzel - Meet My Sis) - Buddy Lammas; raced on a competitive pace and peaked over the concluding stages when resuming from a spell on April 26 in the Maiden 1400 metres at Blenheim. Back in distance to 1200 metres, from barrier four, a return to form is imminent if able to emulate her effort in a solid three-year-old field during Cup week last November at Riccarton.
4:20pm R9 8 Polarity (5 g No Excuse Needed - Affirmed Lane) - Buddy Lammas; resumes from a 162-day break with two trials under his belt. Dead ground should prove ideal for him in the Benchmark 65 1600 metres. While suggestive of taking improvement from the run, like his stable-mate above, his previous best form could see him running strongly into the finish.
