Te Akau NZ Ruakaka Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has one horse entered for the nine-race programme on Wednesday May 15 at Ruakaka.
As at 11:55am on Tuesday May 14 the conditions were: fine and Dead5, rail out 3 metres.
2:35pm R6 5 Sovereign Rose (5 m Pins - Pavan) - Lisa Allpress; was patiently handled, coming from seven lengths off the pace and lengthening nicely, wide on the track, to win on April 28 in the Benchmark 65 1950 metres at Blenheim. Having now recorded back-to-back wins with this rider aboard, she faces a rise in grade for the Benchmark 75 2100 metres. Her recent form makes her competitive in this field, but ridden quietly from barrier ten she will benefit from a race run at genuine pace.
