Te Akau Leads
Following Saturday's race meetings, Te Akau New Zealand has risen to the leading stable in New Zealand for both Group and stakes' races and also prize money won domestically.

Te Akau New Zealand trainers Stephen Autridge and Jamie Richards have trained 25 winners, placing them second on the Trainers' Premiership in terms of wins but when it comes to black type races (5) and stake money won, Te Akau is ahead.

Success at Riccarton saw Te Akau again become the first stable in New Zealand to hit the $1 million in prize money level - currently with $1,026,440 won for our owners  - see the latest table below from Zealand Thoroughbred Racing.  The team also has an outstanding strike rate of 4.64 too.

Premierships are based on performances during each racing season. The jockey and trainer with the most wins at the end of the season are the Premiership winners. These statistics are updated daily.
