Course proper (slow):


Preparing for an assignment on Monday at Avondale, or Wednesday at Taupo, Hardcore Rock (Dee) galloped with Stanica Star (Miller) over 1000 metres in 1:05, last 600m in 37.8.


Trialling on Tuesday Oct. 8 at Cambridge, O'Darci (Miller) and Peerage (Dee) worked over the last 600 metres in 38 at the end of 1000 metres.


Preparing to debut on Monday at Avondale, Osmunda (Dee) and Sovereign Rose (Miller), who resumes on Wednesday at Taupo, clocked 1000 metres in 1:07, last 600m in 37.6 - pictured below (Osmunda left, Sovereign Rose, right)

800 metres three-quarter pace on the sand track:


Working solo, Imperial Miss (Dee) finished her preparation for racing on Saturday at Hastings. Also in solo work; Flirty Gertey (Dee), Sir Darci (Miller), Aspen (Miller), and Sebrose (Lang), while Highly Likely (Lang) and Maestro (Ellis) were paired in their work.

Working in pairs: Appellation (2 c Pentire - Tattinger) (Lang) and 2 f Minstrel Court - Palais Jamai (Dee), 2 f Any Suggestion - Spanish Lullaby (Lang) and 2 f Encosta De Lago - Mexican Rose (Dee), Bordeaux (2 c High Chaparral - Our Echezeaux) (Lang) and Imperium (2 c Encosta De Lago - Ethereal) (Hazlett), 2 c Flying Spur - Madeleine Noblet (Cox) and 2 c Pins - Lowland (Lang).
