Course proper (Good):
Flirty Gertey (Dee) and Sovereign Rose (Hercock) worked over 1400 metres. They covered the 1200 metres in 1:21 and 37.6 for the final 600m.
On Thursday Dec. 5 at New Plymouth, Sovereign Rose contests the Benchmark 75 2000 metres at her second start over ground in this campaign.
Smart when winning at her second attempt, on Oct. 14 by four and a quarter lengths at Paeroa, Flirty Gertey is preparing to resume from a freshen-up in the Benchmark 65 1400 metres next Saturday, Dec. 7, at Ellerslie.
