Te Akau NZ Waverley Preview

Te Akau New Zealand has two horses entered for the eight-race programme on Thursday July 4 at Waverley.

As at 8:19am on Wednesday July 3 were: cloudy and Slow8, rail out 2 metres.

1:55pm R4 12 My Fiancée (3 f Snitzel - Meet My Sis) - Matt Cameron; continued her solid recent form with a tenacious performance for third on June 5 in the Maiden 1200 metres on Heavy11 footing at Matamata. She now steps up in distance to 1400 metres, from barrier seven, which is expected to suit. Having trained on well, she appears a strong chance to break through.

3:40pm R7 6 Polarity (5 g No Excuse Needed - Affirmed Lane) - Matt Cameron; travelled easily at the back of the field and sustained a sweeping run for second on June 8 in the Benchmark 65 2100 metres on Slow8 at Te Rapa. He too has trained on in good fashion, remains a happy horse and should strike footing to suit.
