Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing at two venues on Saturday 7 May.

As on Friday 6 May the conditions were: fine and Dead4, rail out 3 metres.
1.12 p.m. R4 2 Brer (7 g China Cat - La Fox) - Daniel Miller; performed pleasingly in two encouraging performances on the flat in preparation for the $20,000 Open Steeplechase 4000 metres, where he is expected to produce a bold showing.
Riccarton:
As on Friday 6 May the conditions were: overcast and Good3, rail true.
2.05 p.m. R5 10 Primrose (2 f Saperavi - Primo Quest) - Michael McNab; made ground off a wide gate here on debut over 1000 metres and contests the $50,000 Berkley Stud Champagne Stakes (Listed, 1200m). Currently rated $9.00 & $2.80 fixed, she has drawn favourably in barrier two and possesses natural ability.
