Te Akau Otaki Easter Monday Preview

Te Akau Racing has two horses entered on Monday 1 April at Otaki.

2:06 p.m. R3 1 Truth Or Dare (2 g Vanbrugh – Thetruthisoutthere) – Warren Kennedy; he ranged four wide on straightening and stretched out with big strides to win a trial on 14 March at Taupo. Debuting in the $18,500 Maiden 2YO 1200 metres, he won his first trial in similar fashion in February at Tauranga. A striking individual, he rates a top three chance from barrier three. Fixed odds: $2.00 & $1.25.

2:43 p.m. R4 12 Mitre Peak (3 f More Than Ready – Liten Prinsessa) – Warren Kennedy; she spelled following her debut over 1100 metres in December at New Plymouth, and resumes without a trial in the $18,500 Maiden 1100 metres. She will be looking to show an encouraging performance fresh up and will improve from the outing. Fixed odds: $11.00 & $3.50.
