12:52 p.m. R2 5 Sky on Fire (2 f Exceed and Excel - Elusive Meteor) - Craig Grylls; bounced out to lead and looked good drawing clear to win effortlessly in her sole trial on 4 August at Te Rapa, and debuts in the $14,000 Maiden 2YO 800 metres. A well developed filly, her dam Elusive Meteor (Northern Meteor) was a big strong mare that won twice to 1400 metres. Ground remaining soft would be preferable, but she is strongly supported nonetheless.
