Te Akau Racing has three horses entered on Wednesday 22 February at Pukekohe.

2:40 p.m. R3 5 Believe It Or Not (3 g Star Witness - Believe You Me) - Joe Kamaruddin (a1); he ran home solidly for fourth in a trial on 17 January at Tauranga, and resumes in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres with visor blinkers on. His three runs earlier in the season had merit on heavy ground and he is likely to appreciate better footing. 

3:52 p.m. R5 12 Angel Wings (3 f Heroic Valour - Gowana) - Niranjan Parmar (a2); she ran on near the rail for fourth in the Maiden 3YO 1400 metres on 26 January at Hastings, and contests the $20,000 Maiden 1400 metres. She is aided by barrier six and weight relief to 54kg. 

6:38 p.m. R10 8 Zakaya (3 f Reliable Man - Zarzing) - Joe Kamaruddin (a1); she finished fifth off a wide trip in the Maiden 1400 metres on 7 February at Taupo, won by stable-mate Marvelouz (Almanzor), and contests the $20,000 NZB Insurance Pearl Series Maiden Fillies & Mares 1400 metres. She is aided by her barrier two draw.
