Te Akau Racing has two horses entered on Tuesday 2 April at Pukekohe.

3:12 p.m. R5 6 Hayate (6 m Maurice – Vamoose) – Craig Grylls; she quickened to advantage after leading, only to be claimed late and finish second in the Rating 60 1600 metres on 12 March at Matamata, also with Grylls aboard, and contests the $25,000 Rating 60 2100 metres. She is the winner of four races from 1200m – 2000m, and has shown to appreciate longer trips. She signalled a return to form last start, and rates a top three chance from barrier three. Fixed odds: $4.50 & $1.70.

4:24 p.m. R7 7 Lady Of Court (4 m Savabeel – Are There Any) – Vinnie Colgan; she won the Rating 60 1400 metres after leading on 26 February at Taupo, and finished strongly from a handy position for fourth in the Rating 65 1340 metres on 15 March at Wanganui. She has been racing well and is ideally drawn (5) to deliver a first four finish if she handles the course at her first attempt. Fixed odds: $8.00 & $2.70.
