Te Akau Pukekohe Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing on Wednesday 28 February at Pukekohe.

As on Tuesday 27 February the conditions were: overcast and Dead4, rail out 4 metres. No rain forecast.

1.42 p.m. R3 3 In A Twinkling (2 g Fastnet Rock - Moment in Time) - Opie Bosson; did well after being caught wide to dead-heat for first when trialling on 15 February at Taupo, with Bosson aboard, and debuts in the $10,000 Maiden 2YO 1200 metres. His dam, Moment in Time (Archway), was a dual group three winner, dead-heating in a VRC St Leger, and winning six times from 1400m to 2800 metres. While destined to get over more ground, he appears capable of threatening from barrier four in a fresh state.

2.17 p.m. R4 9 Paulownia (3 f Fastnet Rock - Forest Native) - Opie Bosson; has shown considerable talent in winning all three of her trials, each time with Bosson aboard, and debuts in the $10,000 Maiden 1200 metres. A sister to Champion second season sire in Australia, Foxwedge, she clearly looks above average and despite drawing wide should have the edge on many of her rivals.
