Te Akau Ready to Run Update

The Ready to Run Sale at Karaka has been a very successful sale thus far for New Zealand Bloodstock.

After Day 1, where a record price of $340,000 was set, the average increased a significant 22% to $91,036 from last year's figure of $74,638. The average is the highest ever recorded at a two-year-old sale in Australasia, breaking the record set at the end of the 2014 NZB Ready to Run Sale.

Te Akau Racing's David Ellis has purchased a stunning Savabeel colt out of a winning Galileo mare for $230,000 and there will be more information coming about him shortly - we will have a very exciting and unique opportunity available involving this colt.
