Te Akau Racing has two horses entered on Wednesday 11 September at Riccarton.

2.52 p.m. R4 4 Moon Rocket (4 g Merchant Navy – Moonlover) – Tina Comignaghi; he unleashed a terrific sprint to win the Maiden 1400 metres here on 7 August and did well for close fifth after circling from last in the Rating 65 1600 metres on 24 August, both here on poly track. He looks to be improving with age and rates a top three chance from barrier four in the $18,500 Rating 65 1400 metres. Fixed odds: $4.50 & $1.85.

4:04 p.m. R6 2 Time Is King (4 g Darci Brahma – Tiffany’s Time) – Ashvin Goindasamy; he struck ground that was too heavy for his liking in the Rating 65 1600 metres on 16 August at Oamaru, and drops in grade for the $18,500 Rating 60 1200 metres. He won here (poly track) over 1600 metres in June, has been freshened, has the blinkers on, and is providing with a good opportunity to improve his formline. Fixed odds: $5.50 & $2.10.
