Te Akau Riccarton Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has three horses entered for the eight race programme on Friday 10 June at Riccarton.
As on Thursday 9 June the conditions were: overcast and Slow7, rail out 11 metres. 4.5mls forecast Thursday.

12.01 p.m. R1 1 Hushed (5 g Don Eduardo - Danewhisper) - Matt Cameron; led them up and ran away by 9.5 lengths in the Rating 75 2100 metres at Timaru, and although up three kilos to carry 60kg he remains in the same grade for the Rating 75 2000 metres. Having won three of his last five starts since stepping up in distance he appears hard to topple again.

1.46 p.m. R4 5 Our Drahma Queen (4 m Darci Brahma - Queen Cha Cha) - Matt Cameron; has been given time since finishing fifth in the Rating 65 1400 metres at Blenheim, and steps to a mile from barrier eight. Quite forward for the assignment, she rates an each way chance on previous form.

2.23 p.m. R5 4 Love Actually (3 f Swiss Ace - Just Platonic) - Matt Cameron; looked good trialling a month ago over 935 metres at Cambridge, and ready to resume of 274 days in the 3YO 1200 metres. A winner last time out on Dead5, over 1400 metres in September at Ruakaka, she possesses natural talent and should acquit herself well.
