Te Akau New Zealand has two horses racing on Wednesday 18 March at Rotorua.





Weather: overcast, track: Dead5, rail: 3.5 metres. No rain forecast.






1.23 p.m. R1 1 Shezathinka  (4 m So You Think - Headsup) - Danielle Johnson; lost a good position and pushed wide from the 800m on Derby Day (Feb. 29) in the Rating 72 2100 metres at Ellerslie. Her prior form was encouraging and she rates a winning chance in the $11,000 Rating 72 2100 metres. 





3.08 p.m. R4 3 Aromatic (3 f Sacred Falls - Vickezzchardonnay) - Ryan Elliot; charged home for second (fastest 600m: 34.7) on debut in the Maiden 1200 metres on 27 January at Te Teko, and strong again when narrowly defeated in the Maiden 1400 metres on 16 February at Gisborne. She appears a top chance again despite drawing widest (11) in the $10,000 NZB Insurance Pearl Series Maiden 1400 metres (eligible $11,500 bonus).
