2.08 p.m. R4 20 Pin Me Up (3 f Pins - Brampton Loco) - Craig Grylls; charged clear for an impressive win when trialling on 14 October at Taupo, and ran the fastest last 600m (34.4) for second on debut in Maiden 1200 metres on 9 November at Te Aroha. She rates a top three chance in the $12,000 Maiden 3YO 1230 metres. Fixed odds: $3.60 & $1.50.

3.18 p.m. R6 10 Spectrier (3 g Vadamos - Selenus) - Craig Grylls; was given time (29 days) since a Maiden 3YO 1400 metres event on Melbourne Cup Day (2 Nov.) at Te Rapa, and steps up in the $12,000 Maiden 1560 metres from barrier two. His dam Selenus (Pentire) won five times from 1600m - 2200m. Fixed odds: $5.50 & $2.00.

4.59 p.m. R9 4 The Panther (4 g Iffraaj - La Panthere) - Danielle Johnson; won fresh-up over 1100 metres in February at Otaki, and finished second to subsequent winner Side By Side (Star Witness) in a Rating 65 1200 metres on 17 March at Matamata. Given time (33 days) since running on when resuming in a Rating 65 1100 metres on 29 October at Hawera, he rates a top four chance in the $12,000 Rating 65 1230 metres. Fixed odds: $5.50 & $2.00.
