Te Akau New Zealand has one horse racing on Wednesday 28 June at Rotorua.

As on Monday 26 June the conditions were: fine and Heavy10, rail out 6.5 metres 900m - winning post, remainder 5.5 metres. No rain forecast.

2.47 p.m. R5 1 Esprit De Corps (4 g Bel Esprit - Vercors) - Michael McNab; has been given time (38 days) since recording a notable second here in the Rating 65 1400 metres on 21 May with McNab aboard. His two previous runs this time in also had merit, finishing third and second respectively. He won his Maiden by nearly four lengths on Heavy10 in June last year, will again strike footing of testing nature, and brings the right form to rate an each way chance in a field of ten.
