Te Akau Rotorua Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has four horses racing on Wednesday 29 November at Rotorua.

As on Tuesday 28 November the conditions were: overcast and Dead4, rail out 2.5 metres. 2mls rain forecast Tuesday, 1.5mls race day.

1.42 p.m. R2 5 Qian Cheng (3 g Artie Schiller - Alpine Belle) - Michael McNab; won his only trial this time in, tracking three wide with cover in fifth, circled into contention widest around the home turn and quickly established a winning margin, on 9 November at Cambridge. The form was franked when second placed Heat Seeker (Buffalo Man) rushed home for second on Sunday at Te Rapa. Debuting from barrier five in the $10,000 Maiden 3YO 1100 metres, he appears set for a bold first up performance.

3.29 p.m. R5 5 Full of Grace (3 g O'Reilly - Tuesday's Child) - Michael McNab; made good ground near the rail from last on debut in the Maiden 3YO 1300 metres on 12 November at Hastings, and shapes to be appreciative of increased distance in the $10,000 Maiden 1400 metres. A handier run from barrier three rates him an each way chance in quite a strong field.

3.29 p.m. R5 12 Valotia (3 f Cape Blanco - Singalong) - Shaun McKay; worked to co-lead a competitive pace on the inner and kept up a resilient gallop for second when trialling over 1150 metres on 19 October at Waipa, and debuts from barrier six in the $10,000 Maiden 1400 metres. Her dam, Singalong (Danasinga), carried the colours of  Sir Patrick and Justine, Lady Hogan, to victory in the Hawkes Bay Guineas (Gr. 3, 1400m), Desert Gold Stakes (Gr. 3, 1500m), and Cambridge Stud Sir Tristram Fillies Classic (Gr. 2, 2000m).

5.49 p.m. R9 8 Icebomb (3 f Darci Brahma - Snowdonia) - Cameron Lammas; was just beaten after a duel in the straight on 3 November in the Maiden 3YO 1300 metres  at New Plymouth, having run the fastest last 600m (33.8) on the day to finish fourth when resuming in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres on 20 October at Tauranga. Stakes placed in the Phoenix Park Classic (Gr. 3, 1200m), she looks a strong chance from barrier seven in the $10,000 Maiden 1400 metres.
