Te Akau Rotorua Tuesday Preview

Te Akau Racing has two horses entered on Tuesday 19 November at Rotorua.

Weather: fine, track: Soft5, rail: out 3 metres. No rain forecast. 

1:45 p.m. R3 18 Celtic Bling (3 f Embellish – Niamh Elizabeth) – unfixed; she won two trials in this preparation before the finding Heavy8 track conditions too testing when resuming in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres on 30 October at Te Aroha. Contesting the $18,500 Maiden 1230 metres, she is sixth on the ballot, but is ideally drawn (2) to improve if she makes the field. 

5:24 p.m. R9 7 Our Milly Bee (5 m Merchant Navy – Rina Bettina) – Vinnie Colgan; she was tightened for room in the straight before running on well when resuming in the Rating 65 1600 metres on 2 November at Tauranga, and contests the $18,500 Rating 65 1950 metres. A winner over 2200 metres last season, she has raced well on the course, is a consistent performer, and looks a top three prospect from barrier one.
