Te Akau Ruakaka Preview
Te Akau New Zealand has three horses entered for the nine race programme on Wednesday 28 September at Ruakaka.
As on Tuesday 27 September the conditions were: cloudy and Dead5, rail true. 8mls rain forecast 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. race day.

12.55 p.m. R1 12 Tiffany's Time (3 f Alamosa - Tinsel Time) - Matt Cameron; produced a notable performance on debut in the Maiden 1200 metres on Dead6 at Taupo, running home solidly to finish within two lengths of the winner, Mossomak (Makfi), in fifth. From barrier ten in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres, a genuine pace should see her in the finish with trial performers Romancer, Lord Mapperley, and Khar Khorum set to offer competition.

2.05 p.m. R3 4 Foreigner (3 c Savabeel - Pins on Ice) - Michael McNab; makes his debut on the back of two preparatory trials in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres. His dam, Pins on Ice (Pins), won three times up to mile in Victoria, grand-dam Ice Maiden (O'Reilly) was impressive winning from 1200m - 2050m, and rounding off strongly with a view to going further would be an encouraging outcome.

5.38 p.m. R9 2 Amperage (4 g Zabeel - Miss Zapper) - Jasmine Fawcett (a4); has trialled well, the most recent of two outings with this jockey aboard at Cambridge, and resumes carrying 55.5kgs in the Rating 65 1600 metres. A winner over 2100 metres, he should receive a favourable trip from barrier three.
