7:25 p.m. (NZ) - 5:25 p.m. (Vic) R4 3 Get Honor (3 f Savabeel – Honor) – Damian Lane; she improved after getting back and ran home strongly for second in a 800-metre jump out on 5 January at Cranbourne. Debuting in the A$42,500 Maiden 3YO Fillies 1200 metres, she is by 10-time Champion Sire Savabeel (Zabeel), from the family of dual Group One winner Te Akau Shark (Rip Van Winkle), and is poised to race well first-up from barrier five. NZ TAB fixed odds: $5.00 & $1.90.

8:30 p.m. (NZ) - 6:30 p.m. (Vic)  R6 2 Royal Rendezvous (3 g Royal Meeting – Alana’s Party) – Damian Lane; he powered home for debut victory in the Maiden 3YO 1000 metres on 7 December at Werribee, and weaved from last for a close up fourth in the 3YO 1100 metres on 3 January at Geelong. Contesting the A$35,000 Benchmark 64 3YO 1200 metres, he is the half-brother to four-time stakes’ winning stable-mate Bellatrix Star (Star Witness). He’s put in two very good performances to date, and is ideally drawn (5) to make his presence felt in this field. NZ TAB fixed odds: $2.25 & $1.25.

9:00 p.m. (NZ time) - 7:00 p.m. (Vic) R7 5 Our Paramour (4 m Contributer – Victory Parade) – Damian Lane; he made a move from back in the field to lead at the 600m and fought well for fifth in the Benchmark 62 2000 metres on 28 December at Seymour. Contesting the A$35,000 Benchmark 0 – 62 2050 metres, she was a Maiden winner over 2025 metres, and she is positioned to race well again. NZ TAB fixed odds: $4.80 & $1.85.
