Course proper (Dead):

Abidewithme (Miller), eyeing the Thorndon Mile (Gr. 1, 1600m) on January 24 at Trentham, worked solo over 1200m in 1:24, last 600m in 39.6.

Spellbinder (Hercock) and Special Memories (Roff) worked together over 1000m in 1:05.5, last 600m in 36.9.

Longbeach (Zainal) and Wolfwhistle (Miller) went 1200m in 1:18.8, last 600m in 36.6.

Opulent (Miller) and Sonsy (Hercock) covered 1400m. They ran the 1200m in 1:18.5, last 600m in 36.9.

Alchemy's Flight (R. Jones) and Maestro (Hercock) went 1200m in 1:16.8, last 600m in 36.7.   La Adelita (Miller) galloped 1200m in 1:16.8, last 600m 36.4.

Irish Mystic (S. McKay) and Shear Velocity (Hercock) went 1000m in 1:05.2, last 600m in 36.6.

Sand track:

Bordeaux (Miller) and Super Power (Roff) worked together over 1200m in 1:22.1, last 600m in 37.4.  Light Source (Zainal) and
3g Saperavi - Eclectic Heights (Hercock) worked together over 1200m in 1:20.5, last 600m in 37.6.

Auriol (Zainal) and Hushed (Richards) went 800m in 54.5, last 600m in 39.9.  Duran (Hercock) and 3g Saperavi - Paerangi (Miller) covered 800m in 55.2, last 600m in 40.1.

Three-quarter pace on the sand:
