On the Derby path, Imperium (Miller) and Rockfast (Richards) worked over 1200 metres in 1:25.3, 1000m in 1:04 and last 600m 41.5. Love Actually (Zainal) and 3 g Saperavi - Eclectic Heights (Richards) covered 800m in 53.9, last 600m 39.1.

Recent winner of the Murdoch Newell Stakes (Listed, 1100m) Windborne (Samuelsson) went 800m in 56.5, last 600m in 41.3. Windborne (2 f Darci Brahma - Sweet Dreams Baby), the younger sister of Darci's Dream [above] could be sighted in an exhibition gallop between races next Wednesday at Matamata. She contests the Eclipse Stakes (Gr. 3, 1200m) on Jan. 1 at Ellerslie.
